The Retail & Site Integration feature allows you to generate unique, standalone try-on links for your products. When customers visit these links, they are taken to a minimal, mobile-friendly landing page hosted on genlook.app where they can perform a virtual try-on instantly. Because this flow does not rely on your Shopify storefront, it is perfect for:
  • In-store Retail: Print QR codes and place them next to items in your physical store. Customers can scan the QR code to try on the garment virtually before heading to a fitting room.
  • External Sites & Campaigns: Use the direct links in email campaigns, social media, or other external websites where you want to offer a frictionless try-on experience without requiring the user to navigate through your Shopify store.

How to Enable and Use Retail Integration

1

Enable the Feature

  1. Open the Genlook Admin dashboard in your Shopify store.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Retail & Site Integration section.
  4. Check the Enable Retail & Site Integration box.
Once enabled, the feature is immediately active and you can start generating links.
2

Generate Product Links

  1. Navigate to the Manage Products page in the Genlook Admin.
  2. In the products table, you will now see a new Retail Link column.
  3. Click Create Link next to any product you want to generate a retail link for.
  4. Optional: If you want to generate links for your entire catalog at once, you can use the Create All Retail Links bulk action button at the top of the table.
3

Share and Print QR Codes

Once a link is generated for a product, the button will change to show the link URL along with Copy and QR options.
  • Click Copy to copy the standalone URL to your clipboard for digital campaigns.
  • Click QR to open a modal displaying the product’s unique QR code. You can download this QR code image directly to print on product tags, signage, or displays in your physical store.
4

The Customer Experience

When a customer scans the QR code or clicks the retail link, they are taken to a clean, minimal try-on page specifically for that product:
  1. They are prompted to Take a photo or Upload from gallery.
  2. Our AI generates the try-on image instantly.
  3. The customer can see the result, save the photo to their device, or tap a link to view the product on your actual Shopify storefront to complete the purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Any try-on generations created via the Retail links are subject to your existing monthly generation cap and billing plan, exactly like try-ons generated from the widget on your Shopify store.
If you disable Retail & Site Integration in your settings, all previously generated retail links and QR codes will stop working. Customers who scan them will see a “Link not found or disabled” message. Re-enabling the feature will restore access to all existing links.
Currently, the retail landing page is designed to be as minimal and fast as possible to optimize the in-store mobile experience. It automatically displays your store name and the product title, but further visual customization (like custom branding or colors) is not supported at this time.
